Being vulnerable is hard, it’s uncomfortable, and it is deeply human.
To me, good therapy provides the perfect opportunity for you to explore the unique challenges in your life in a trusting, nonjudgemental and safe environment. Within the context of the therapeutic relationship, you will be supported with making sense of past issues in order to help you move forward with increased awareness and a greater sense of belonging in the present and future.
With over ten years of experience in the mental health field, I have had the opportunity to work in a variety of clinical settings; acute, in-home, residential and outpatient. I work with children, adolescents, adults, and families and have extensive training in evidence-based trauma-informed care.
As a life long student, you will always find me reading a book or two. I continue to pursue learning opportunities on current best practices through monthly consultation with a small group of amazing clinicians in Virginia.
